Set thermostat for cool and for the desired temperature. We suggest the fan be left in the "auto" position. It is more economical and will do a better job of dehumidification. We recommend turning unit on prior to any extremely warm weather to make sure it is cooling properly.

Turn off humidifier for the summer cooling season.

Change filters monthly or in the case of electronic air cleaner, clean them monthly. This will help your system operate more efficiently and have less wear and tear on your equipment.

Call in April to have your air conditioner serviced. Get the jump on hot weather! This way Trinity Air can do the routine maintenance on your system and have you ready for the inevitable first hot day.

Turn on humidifier and set humidistat for proper setting. Note: Too much moisture will cause condensation to form on windows and the humidistat has to be adjusted accordingly. There are new humidity controls available that automatically adjust according to the weather. Humidifiers should be serviced at same time of furnace servicing.
